i broke my foot in two places 3 weeks ago and it is still painfull at times but aches continulusy i think it all depends on the person and there pain thresh hold

i may answer this one based from my personal experience. i got multiple bone fractures in my right foot 4 weeks ago. I even removed my cast after 2 weeks and replaced it with a splint. So far, swelling and pain is minimal compared before. 2 more weeks to go before I could try to put a little pressure on it. I still believed that if there is still fracture on my bone, it will manifest like pain, too much swelling and discomfort.

Bone healing process is carried out in 3 stages. These procceses are Inflammation, Bone production and Bone remodeling. Bone healing is a complex process and it may differ from person to person. Bone take 6-8 weeks to heal properly. Immobalization and physical therepy are recommended. Jack Corner.

I am not a doctor but you might have sprained or bruised your finger. If it is really bothering you, I would make an appoointment to go and see your local doctor. You might also want to try putting some ice on it and taking some pain killers. If you can move your finger and bend it too then it`s not likely to be broken. Someone else might have a better idea of what is actually wrong with it. Did you knock it or otherwise injure it lately? Hope your finger gets better soon. William Rose

Swelling after broken foot bones can be quite bad. As you have specified that ankle is broken, you must have gotten a plaster cast. The natural healing time taken for healing is about 4-6 weeks. It can be increased if you have some disease or if your bones have not been joined well.

I fell and hit my arm on monday i had a huge lump and bruise.the dr did an exray but because of the swelling it was to blury to see if it is broken. he wrapped it in a bandage plus tubr grip then a back slab.thr bruise has gone up my arm and my fingers are really swollen and stiff.i can feel my pulse really strong under my cast.my arm seems to be aching more everyday.is this normal?
