ACUALLY When you dont pay the loans or taxes then the lender gives you time before closing the deal. he can give you 4 months time and if you have a good credit statement then he can give you even more time suitable to u before closing the deal . so you can either consult with the lawer as he will give you the perfect advice about the closing and will try to give you time from the lender PEN NAME= JOH ANDERSON

i am a first time, very confused, home buyer. i'm financing about 125 k for a brand new home built only 5 months ago. it has been owned by the builder since. looking at my closing costs and the good faith estimate, i find out i have to pre-pay 3 months of insurance and 3 months of taxes and interest on the home. the total pre-paids comes out to around 2,400 dlrs. this is on top of my closing costs (additional 4,200 dlrs.). is this normal? is this what they call escrows?
