Um, im not really sure what the question means.. But if you want to convert it to feet you would divide it by 3.28. Also if you have a room that is 12m wide by 10m long, you multiply that to come up with 120m squared.

it depends on the shape of the house and on how many edges have roofs (for example a squared house can have a roof from two sides and also from four sides)...? Edit: I suppose the house is square shaped? Well then each side of the house is 10 meters, also the longer side of the slopes is equal to the side of the house aka 10 meters. The shorter side of the slope (the steep one) can be calculated using Pythagora's theorem L = SQRT(10/2 * 10/2 + 10/2 * 10/2) aka L = SQRT (50) approximatly 7.1 meters so the sq meterege of one of the slopes is 7.1*10 = 71 m2 and both of them would have 142 m2 hope you understood everything

Q. How to calculate quantity of cement needed?
i want to do a flooring of my new house by cement:sand (1:3)ratio and would like to know the quantity of cement needed per square meter for plstering.

how? calculate the volume as L x W x D in cubic meters, then divide by 4 for amount of cement, and multiply that by 3 for amount of sand. That will get you the volumes. If you want the volumes per square meter, calculate the volume as 1 x 1 x D (depth) in cubic meters, then divide by 4 for amount of cement, and multiply that by 3 for amount of sand. That will get you the volume per square meter. .

If each room is a rectangle, then the room's area equals length times width. Do each room separately, and add them all up. A square is also a rectangle. If a room is something other than a rectangle, you need a different formula.

For the first two: You could either go to an online conversion site if you're lazy, or you can use this formula to convert from degC to degF: degF = (9/5)*degC + 32. To go the opposite way, solve for degC. The next few questions can be solved by using Q=mc(delta)T where (delta)T is the change in temperature, "c" is the specific heat capacity of the medium, m is the mass, and Q is the total energy. As for the last few, well, here's my attempt at giving you answers: "Calculate Solar Radiation". If the house is 10mX10m, that's 100 sq.m. So, your equation would look like: 200 W/sqM * 100 sq.M = 20 000 W = 20kW. That is assuming a perfect rectangle and that the house is directly underneath the Sun, with no other obstacles in the way. The other ones I'm not going to answer for you, as I pretty much did your whole assignment already. Good luck

To Calculate work: Work is defined ,simply as the product of a Force moved a distance s:-Fs.I will have to get the tachometer reading or the number of revs the engine makes per sec.and the stroke of each piston. If the pump does not absorb or release any thermal energy,then there is no change in thermal energy! The other questions are interesting.But they remind me of Fermi Questions--- like what pressure will a fly exert on the surface of the moon when it lands and it is at rest there,or like if I burn 3000 Cal/day,how much work will my brain or I do in two hours of intense thought,if my brain uses 40% of all calories burned/day.
