Can some one advice me : I had taken a loan from a Bank in the year 2006 end. The loan has just got completed in October 2010. The amount taken was 50,000. The total amount that was worked out to be cleared in October was said to be 77,000 Dhs. I have paid about 84,000 so far. I had a lot of late payments made but have been paying montly ( only late) towards the loan. The bank now wants me to pay 25,000 as interest. I am lost and do not want to pay this amount as it will be wrong. Even if i calculate late payment for 48 months it will still not amount to 25,000/- The banks has now lodged a police case against me. Can someone please guide me as to what should be done. Talking to the Bank did not help. How costly is it to file a case. Can some please give me the right advice in order for me to move forward. My email address is : Gna...@yahoo.com.

Get in touch with the bank, if they have lodged a case against you, find out which police station, then settle the amount, get a clearance letter in Arabic directed towards the police station clearing you of all debts and travel with the clearance letter. Make sure you have this clearance letter no matter what the bank says. if you get detained, you will have to keep a passport as security till you get the bank to clear your name and if you come in on visit, you wont be allowed to leave even if you plan to keep passport as collateral.

The maximum amount of gold you can transport as baggage into India is 10 kg if you`re an NRI, while the maximum amount of silver is 100 kg. You can take as much as gold to India from Dubai duty free, keeping in view that you have all the invoices in hand to show them to the immigration or custom authorities in India and in Dubai as well. Hi i just change my visa into husband visa just to save my visa coz i was released due to the company was close,im not working for a year now and i have credit card and loan that i haven`t pay. I;m afraid to go to police or immigration maybe they will catch me and put to jail.. i want to travel my home country. Is it possible to travel? Can you advise me what to do?

The concerned bank must have lodged a complaint aginst you after six months it began to be unpaid. So you better to cross check with immigration department by the help of your friends or relatives in UAE whether you`re hereby black listed OR not ! Otherwise you will be detained at airport upon your arrival.

I do not think another country`s bank could interfere in another country`s affair .all it could do is register a case here with the government and it is up to the government whether they hand over the defaulter to the authorities or not . the bank could not do anything.
